clock January 8, 2008 17:24 by author Team

Jesse Foster has portet a really cool theme to BlogEngine.NET. It's a dark theme that looks really stylish and clean.

You can see and download the theme here.

Thanks Jesse - good work (and sorry for getting your name wrong the first time around. )

As much as I'd like to take credit for such a nice looking theme, it wasn't me! Jesse Foster should get credit for porting that theme:

The real credit goes to the WP Designer, but I'm glad you guys like it.

Drop me a line if you run across any issues.

Jesse Foster

No, just the ones built into blogengine. Im not aware of any additional features that you can put into the theme that will help. Ill definitely look into it, though.

Is there any need to embed extra spam protection over the built in stuff in blogengine?

If you get spam, then you need more protection. I've been running BlogEngine as my main blog since 1.0 alpha was released last April and never had a single spam comment.

There is an Akismet extension available for download if you'd like. I don't need it and I doubt you will neither. Hope this answers your question.

It would be great with some kind of "Wordpress -> BlogEngine.NET" theme converter Smile
